Tree Health Assessment of Lauraceae Collections in Bogor Botanic Gardens using Forest Health Monitoring Method

Bogor Botanic Gardens (BBG) is an ex-situ plant conservation area with thousands of collections. The trees the Lauraceae in BBG experienced highest number deaths among other families. However most them were categorized as young planting years (0-15 years). A tree health monitoring needs to be conducted provide overview, trend, and value level damage. Forest Health Monitoring (FHM) method was carried out on two plots consisting 149 trees. FHM can identify types levels damage through recording a series results showed that trees, 103 healthy, 9 lightly damaged, 10 moderately 15 heavily 12 dead. primarily found stem (63 trees), crown branch (51 roots (13 trees). severity mainly at mild (0-19%). cause discussed.
